Our family just couldn't believe that Jason caught a 65 lb. halibut on the first try. We can't wait for our 'haul' to arrive here, and if it stays frozen in this Houston heat, all the better! John from HoustonLucas, I Just wanted to let you know what a great day I had when you took me (and others) halibut fishing. I do not go fishing very often and I am not too experienced but I thought I did pretty good. 10 fish I think. At the end I was almost wishing they would not bite as I was totally exhausted. Once again thanks for experience and the friendly and helpful way you skippered the trip. Several other fishing trips through the cruise didn't fare so well, like one Salmon for six people with not even a nibble on some lines. Our time with you was the highlght of our dinner table and we heard others talking about the big fish on the dock. Looking back at the entire trip, fishing in Hoonah was the highlight for me.
